NO MORE CASTS!!!!

Well, today was the BIG day.  Noah finally got his cast off and his legs are free! Well..sort of.  He's now wearing what they call the "Ponseti" or "Dennis Brown" bar.

This is what it looks like.  So, he will have to wear this 23/7 for the next 3 months...then after the 3 months he will only have to wear this at night (whoo-hoo)...for the next 3 years :)










The "cast technician" as they called him, well really his name is Grant is a WONDERFUL nurse/technician.  He's great with Noah.  He took Noah's casts off today and showed us how to put on the booties. 

Sadly, Grant told us today he would be leaving CMC to move to Florida..where his wife is originally from.  Although its sad to see him leave...at least Noah's done with cast and was able to have such a wonderful nurse!!

He had free legs!! Yay!

 On another note, Eric put together Noah's jumperoo this weekend....and  as you can see he LOVES it!


I'm pretty sure I'm more excited than Noah is for his first real bath tonight.  For him to be able to play in the water and splash around...makes me happy :) The little things that we take granted!

Bust day for this little fella. At 3:15 we are going for his first sets of shots :( Since his cast covered up yhis thighs we've had to wait.  Wish us luck!!!
